I visited this restaurant today with my sister. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST RESTAURANTS I'VE EVER BEEN TO!! OMG THE FOOD, THE PEOPLE, THE AMBIENCE... SISI YOU'RE AMAZING. I SWEAR EVERYONE IS AMAZING HERE. VERYYY WELCOMING and Warmm.. I LOVED THIS PLACE.. They deserve everyone's attention. I can't believe I missed this place . THE CHEF has very skillful hands.. We even had a takeaway to the home.. The food gets TASTIER with every bite.. I really appreciate everyone who works at this place. You guys are an amazing team.. May you all be healthy and grow well.. We've been trying food from different places but I can tell this is one of the BEST!!! Wallah!! THANK YOU!!! The CHEF Deserves a hike!! I appreciate sisi and another man for explaining everything to us about food and making us comfortable. Will visit again whenever we're visiting Kensington.
I recently had dinner at Alounak Restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was incredibly tasty and full of flavor. The staff were lovely and extremely kind, making us feel welcome throughout our meal. To top it off, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert, which was a delightful treat. Excellent Persian aubergine tomato dip and Chenjeh kebabs, served in a beautifully exotic atmosphere with warm, friendly service. Love it!
As soon as we enter, the atmosphere was so comfortable and cozy. Liked the music choice. Food was very tasty, starters like shirazi salad, to mains meals with lamb. Humus with bread is also my recommendation. We were tired from the walking and our dinner made us full. Im sure that this place can be left with good experience
I recently dined for the first time and tried two dishes. both were absolutely delicious and a wonderful introduction to Persian cuisine. The flavors were rich and unique, leaving a great impression. I visited today as a surprise for my husband and our third wedding anniversary. It’s our first time and I am so happy we came her from the beginning to end it was amazing the atmosphere was very cosy and homely the food was fresh and tender lamb was refreshing to have homemade Iranian food the mixed starter was just how I imagined the mirza ghazami was yum I will definitely go again and recommend to friends and family Some might say it is overpriced but I think it was worth the money and you have to try the Persian ice cream with baklava and definitely have a homemade lemonade it is so refreshing the staff are amazing friendly and make it worth it
My friends and I (22 people) all went to eat here. We ordered 4 mixed kebab platters and they brought rice for everyone and a great amount of yummy bread! ( I recommend having the bread with butter... though idk if it offends the culture having the butter on the bread as it’s supposed to be on rice but it is amazing!) The long lamb was my favorite The staff is so friendly and accommodating! Would totally recommend this place for a good time
